This process also helps us match you with more relevant surveys and ensures the rewards you earn are delivered to you.
Who is CLEAR and why are they involved?
CLEAR is a trusted leader in secure identity verification, often used by airports, stadiums, rideshare services, and secure digital spaces. Ipsos iSay has partnered with CLEAR to further ensure the integrity of our market research and political polling.
What is the verification process and how long does it take?
The verification process with CLEAR is quick and simple. You will need a mobile device and a government-issued ID. You’ll be asked to take a couple of photos of yourself and your ID. Typically, verification is done in real-time and only takes a few minutes.
How is verifying with CLEAR on Ipsos iSay different from using CLEAR Plus at the airport?
Verifying your identity with a CLEAR account is a free experience, but it will not give you access to the CLEAR airport experience. CLEAR Plus is a paid membership that travelers use to expedite airport security. Verifying your identity on Ipsos iSay is completely free and does NOT require you to be a CLEAR Plus Member.
Will I receive any rewards for completing the ID verification?

Is my personal information safe with CLEAR?
Your personal information is safe with CLEAR. You have full control over your information, and CLEAR will only collect it after you have fully opted in. CLEAR uses advanced security measures, including encryption and secure storage, to protect your personal information. Ensuring your privacy is their top priority.
What if I get an error during ID verification?
There are a few common reasons why you may get an error during ID verification. Here are some tips to help you avoid those errors:
- Name Mismatch: Make sure your ID name exactly matches your Ipsos iSay profile name.
- Duplicate Accounts: Each CLEAR verification can only be used for one Ipsos iSay profile.
- ID Type: Use a valid, unexpired driver's license, state ID, or passport.
- Document Capture: CLEAR will need a clear, complete, and well-lit photo of your ID. In that photo, ensure the text is clearly visible and legible, without any glare. Be sure to capture four corners of your ID in the image.
- Selfie Capture: Make sure that your face is visible within the oval on your screen. It should be well-lit and free from glare. During selfie capture, please remove any glasses or hats, and make sure nothing is covering or obstructing your face. Some users find standing against a blank wall works well.
- Device: Use a mobile device for ID and selfie capture. Verification cannot be completed using only a desktop or laptop device.

What happens if I choose not to, or am unable to, verify my identity?
Verification helps us maintain the integrity of our community and the accuracy of our research. If you choose not to verify your identity, you may no longer have access to the full range of Ipsos iSay member benefits, including personalized survey opportunities and the ability to redeem rewards.
