What Makes a Perfect Super Bowl Sunday According to Ipsos iSay Question of the Day Poll Voters

Just a few days ago, we kicked off our Super Bowl LX series with the “More than a game (…)”  cover article, and the numbers were wild! Spoiler alert! Americans spending nearly $14.9 billion on snacks and drinks for just one night of football frenzy, almost twice the economic impact of UEFA EURO 2024 across its host cities. Clearly, this game is about more than touchdowns.

But with Super Bowl LX approaching, it’s basically Nihilist Penguin* energy but with football gear on the way, the real question isn’t who will win on the field. It’s what makes the DAY unforgettable!

We asked Ipsos iSay visitors and members to weigh in on our Question of the Day (QOTD), and the results show one thing loud and clear: the Super Bowl MVP (Most Valuable Player) might not be a player at all!

The Perfect Halftime Show: Everyone Has Their Own MVP

The results are in, and the message is loud and clear: our community wants to sing along.

42% of Ipsos iSay visitors and members say the perfect halftime show is all about a high-energy medley of “The Greatest Hits.” This year, fans are buzzing that Bad Bunny is headlining, but insiders hint that Adele was secretly in talks for a cameo, making us wonder if a surprise duet could happen on game day. Whether it’s a powerhouse solo artist or a high-profile collaboration, the crowd loves when performers pack the biggest moments of their careers into one unforgettable set.

Close behind, 33% believe that mind-blowing stage production and visual effects are what make the show memorable. From pyrotechnics to drones, dancers, and light shows that fill the stadium, production value clearly matters.

Meanwhile, 13% of respondents look forward to surprise guest appearances and Marvel-level cameos, those unexpected moments that get everyone talking. And for 12%, the best shows are those that celebrate the host city’s culture and history, blending local flavor with global entertainment.

In short, the ideal halftime show seems to balance nostalgia, spectacle, and surprise, an experience that’s equal parts concert, performance art, and national moment.

MVP Super Bowl

The Party MVP: The Classics Still Rule the Table

On the field, the Super Bowl’s MVP title goes to the Most Valuable Player (Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence, Drake Maye, Christian McCaffrey and Matthew Stafford are the candidates htis year), but at every watch party, there’s another kind of MVP up for grabs: the Most Valuable Plate, and we’re here to declare the new title winner for the year!

According to the poll voters, the clear favorite, earning 44% of the vote is “The Classics”: wings, sliders, and nachos. These timeless favorites bring people together and never fail to please a crowd.

Coming in second, 25% of respondents crowned “The Dips” as their MVPs from buffalo chicken to guacamole and spinach artichoke, dips are the perfect sidekick to any chip or snack platter.

For 24%, convenience is king. These respondents give their vote to “The Order-Out” option; pizza delivery or catering keeping things easy while still satisfying hungry guests.

And while 7% said they prefer health-conscious plates like charcuterie, veggie trays, or air-fried snacks, it’s safe to say that on game day, indulgence wins out.

Game Day Takeaway: Celebrate Your Own MVP

From the booming beats of the halftime show to the aroma of wings and nachos filling the room, Super Bowl Sunday is about more than the score on the board; it’s a day of shared experiences, celebration, and community.
