About a third (31%) are absolutely in love with V-Day, while another third (34%) enjoy the day but don’t go overboard. Still, about one in five (21%) will enjoy some quality “me” time by spending Valentine’s Day on their own.

Dinner or a Movie?

Choosing how to celebrate Valentine's Day can be as exciting as the day itself! A romantic dinner at a restaurant is the top choice for about a quarter of Ipsos iSay sweethearts (24%), while an equal number (24%) would prefer a cozy night in with movies.

For the cozy crowd, the big decision is choosing what to watch. By far, the most-chosen favorite romantic film is The Notebook (23%). Other movies that set the mood include Dirty Dancing (14%), Pretty Woman (13%), and Titanic (13%).

Sweet Surprises

Luckily, Valentine’s Day gifts don’t have to be expensive – many prefer the charm of personalized gifts like a handwritten love letter (17%) or a photo album (9%).
